Michael (Micky) Cohen-Wolkowiez, MD PhD

Micky is the Kiser-Arena Distinguished Professor of Pediatrics at Duke University and serves as fractional executive, Chief Medical Advisor, for Lightship Inc. He has over 15 years of clinical research, innovation, and leadership experience; has led projects totaling over $250M in funding; and has consulted for over 25 industry sponsors. In 2023, Micky was the #1 pediatrician with most NIH funding in the country.  His medical background is in pediatric infectious diseases and clinical pharmacology. Micky's passions include tennis, reading historical fiction, eating plantains, and art.
